The future of lab automation...
MEET VECTOR, YOUR NEW LAB ASSISTANT
Autonomous Mobile Robot
Vector navigates your lab autonomously and works seamlessly alongside humans: self-locating, path planning, avoiding obstacles, and interfacing with both automation workcells and scientists.
Collaborative Robot Arm with Integrated Vision
Vector safely works alongside scientists in your lab by utilizing a collaborative robot arm. The integrated vision system within it’s gripper allows for reliable picking of plates, automatic teaching, and more.
Modular Labware Storage
Vector is equipped with a labware storage hotel, allowing for safe transport of microplates. The nests, or even the entire assembly, is removable as well, to allow for complete customization.
AI Assistant with Voice Control
Vector becomes a true lab assistant by allowing control through voice commands. Execute tasks, check status, or even ask it to look up questions through an AI-powered conversation.
Collaborative Robot Arm with Integrated Vision
AMR Not Required To Face Target
The robot can scan targeting markers anywhere within the robot’s reach, without needing the AMR base to move/rotate to face it.
Collaborative Robot Arm
The robot arm meets collaborative safety requirements, allowing users to comfortably interact directly with it.
Self-Teaching
The robot arm can utilize its integrated vision to automatically teach nest positions and later place and pick labware from them without human intervention.
Plate Presence Sensing
The vision system within the robot gripper is capable of detecting the presence of a plate in the storage hotel or a nest to avoid collision.
Plate Barcode Scanning
The vision system within the robot gripper is capable scanning any format of barcode on a microplate.
Obstruction Detection
The vision system within the robot gripper is capable of detecting potential obstructions that may impact the accessibility of a plate nest.
Labware Storage Hotel
Regrip/Hand-off Nest
A nest positioned on top of the storage hotel allows for users to quickly hand a plate off to the robot or for the robot to regrip the plate to a different grip orientation.
System Status LEDs
Status lights surround the regrip nest to quickly present status of the robot or to indicate to the user of certain actions (such as loading a plate onto the regrip nest).
Front-Facing LCD Touch Screen
A front-facing touch screen allows users to see key information about the robot (such as current task) from the front of the robot. It is also a touch screen to allow for menus to be access when in front of the robot.
Manual Robot Interface Door Override
Manually open the sliding panels to expose the shelves via convenient knobs. Allows access from the robot interface without relying on the automated interface.
Automated Sliding Door Robot Interface
Shelves can be accessed via the robot through openings in the front panel which can be opened and closed electronically.
Labware Storage Hotel
Manual Hotel Access Doors
Users can access the shelves from the back of the hotel via hinged doors, without interfering with the robot’s reach.
Hotel Shelf Status LEDs
LEDs are addressable per shelf to indicate the presence of a microplate on the shelf, indicate loading position to the microplate, or allow customizable states.
Fully-Enclosed Microplate Storage
Microplates are secured in an enclosure to prevent unwanted access and prevent contamination.
Customizeable Storage
By default, Vector has a capacity of (12) deep-well microtiter plates organized on (6) shelves. Each of these shelves are removable and exchangable to allow for increased pitch or a customized nest design.
Additional Features
360 Degree Camera
An optional 360 degree camera can be mounted on top of the robot arm to allow for the observation of the robot in the robots POV (either from a computer or VR). It also acts as a DVR, to record certain events (such as errors) to allow the user to play back and identify issues easily.
Tablet Interface
A tablet is mounted to the back of the robot to allow easy user interaction. The tablet can be removed and still provide control to the robot to ease certain tasks like teaching.
AI Assistant with Voice Control
Vector becomes a true lab assistant by allowing control through voice commands. Execute tasks, check status, or even ask it to look up questions through an AI-powered conversation.
